Doing a multi-model search


Sometimes finding an exact model match is impossible because a few of the digits are missing or have faded over time. Appliance Help gives you additional assistance in finding the parts for you appliance even if you do not have the complete model number.

If you do not have the complete model number or cannot find an exact model match, try entering the first few digits of your model number. The results will display all of the parts that match all of the models beginning with those digits. The more digits you enter the more accurate your results will be.

Manufacturers may change the design of a model every year or so. These models are the similar but may contain different parts. The manufacturers keep the first few digits of a model number and change the remaining digits. That is why some of the parts are the same and some are different. Most of the parts listed will be for your appliance, however, there may be parts listed here that do not match your particular model. Parts can change color, electrical connection, or design.

Enter as many of the digits of your model number as you can to refine your search as much as possible. Click the search button to find the matching parts. This list can be quite lengthy. You may scroll through the pages looking for your part or search by part description.

The results will look like this if you have not reached an exact match. The parts shown are for models that contain the digits you have entered, but not all of them are for your particular appliance. Check the descriptions carefully.

Finding the exact match to your model number means locating your complete model number.

Search by description
You may get so many parts that it will take you pages and pages to check. Enter a one-word part description to help you locate the part faster. The search box(shown below) is located on the top left hand side of the page.

Here is where you can enter in a part description.This user is ready to click the search button after entering the word 'rack'. They could be looking for a part that is included in the rack for this appliance or the acutal rack itsef.

The results will display all parts containing the search word you used.

Each part matching your search belongs to a section of your appliance. Click the link 'See all parts for this diagram/section' to get a list off all the parts shown in the diagram.

Since there is more than one model number involved in this type of search, you may find two or more choices for any particular item. Look at the items, and descriptions closely to determine which part is right for you.

Once you have found the part you are looking for simply add it to your cart.
